The Confederate Battle Flag With The "St Andrews Cross" was not the only Confederate Battle Flag, but She was the most known and used late in that great war. She is the most, hated, debated, misrepresented and beloved of all Confederate symbols. She has been tarnished by groups as the, naacp "by way of slander", kkk, aryan nation, skinheads, neo nazi, white supremacy clowns...Just to name a few. She was not a national flag, nor was She a politician's flag, and most defiantly not a flag of hate!..."She was a soldier's flag" a banner of courage, honour and a call to duty. She was a rallying point for battling warriors. Many died to keep Her safe and out of enemy hands, this Flag was stained with the blood of our Southron patriots. Last, and most important,
SHE WAS AN AMERICAN FLAG!!

As Southron, we owe it to ourselves and noble ancestry to protect Her and hold Her in reverence. We must stand up to those that slander Her, for that slander is slander toward us and our past. We must never let our past be removed from our future...May God give us the courage to do what must be done to stop the hate of "Those People." ~ PoP

The monument is dedicated to the memory of 27 unknown Confederate soldiers killed at the Battle of Haw's Shop, and are buried in the church cemetery. The flag flies year round and serves as a reminder to all who pass by of the honor and bravery of the men laid to rest there.

4 inches at my home here in western Kentucky yesterday. I couldn't help but put up the Battle Flag that had not flown for a few days because of the bad weather and wind. As I raised it up the pole the beauty of the scene prompted me to take a couple of shots.

I was in the Lanexa area of James City County Virginia over the Christmas Holdidays, and made a trip in the new fallen snow to visit Peach Park. This is a little section of a large field set aside as a Confederate Memorial Park to honor Lt. Col. James Harvey Allen of the 5th Virginia Cavalry (James City Cavalry) who is buried in that spot. The red white and blue of the 1st National looked sharp against the white backdrop. When you cross the Savannah River from South Carolina into Georgia there are many boats lined up. This week I noticed that one of them that you can't miss when crossing over the bridge has a Confederate flag on it. So I went down to the river bank today and took this picture of the boat. I also noticed the bust of Robert E Lee on the craft! And while I was there I shot another picture of a nearby boat which also had a Confederate flag flying from it. I'm sitting on my horse, Confederate Jacket I've worn for over 50 years, I wear it everywhere. I have it also on the other arm sleeve as well.

Notice there are also Confederate flags pins all over jacket as well - on each collar and each pocket.
I have a cowboy hat on with Confederate Pins & Battle Flag earrings... This is how I go out everywhere. I dress Confederate from head to toe !

3 Flag Cluster is located in the North Union Presbyterian Church cemetery at their veterans memorial. This cemetery is located on the Tyson Store Rd between Rutherford, TN and Mason Hall, TN.

Below...In the early 1900's stones were put into the sunken graves to protect our heroes.

The below brought tears to my eyes unashamed. The little battle flag was aged and faded from many months of service to our fallen heroes.
I thank God for the blood from which I came!

This heroes rest is VERY well maintained and SPOTLESS!! "by persons unknown to me." I left a nice donation when I left and my contact infromation.

September 19, 2010 Chattanooga, TN.

Tens of thousands of motorcyclists took over roads across the Shoals as part of the annual ride that memorializes the Trail of Tears, the brutal expulsion of Cherokee Indians east of the Mississippi River starting in 1838.

Many riders wore leather chaps, jackets with veteran insignia and even a couple flew the Confederate flag.
